Feathered Friends Kid’s Parties are suitable for children (3 years and over) and adults of all ages. Designed to entertain and educate – your party guests will be amazed with an intimate personalised indoor bird experience in your home!

By purchasing a kid’s party you’re also supporting the Sanctuary’s captive breeding programs. We have developed two unique party options for you to select from.
Kid’s Party in Your Home

Accommodates 10 kids
$16 per extra child (Max. 25 kids)
Petrol fee is applicable for locations further than 40 minutes drive from Cecil Park – an additional $50 is added for travel costs.
Feathered Friends is home to birds of all shapes and sizes. This program is designed to educate children and adults about pet, exotic and threatened birds.
INCLUDES
- 45 minute bird presentation in your home in Greater Sydney NSW
- Interact with assorted birds including an Owl (either Barn Owl or Boobook Owl), Eclectus Parrot, Macaw, Black Cockatoo, Tawny Frogmouth, Bush Stone Curlew and baby chicks
- Education and conservation talk
- Advice on how to encourage wild birds to visit your home
PLUS, we will gift the host with some conservation goodies:
- Take home Black Cockatoo sticker
- Take home Black Cockatoo art frame
- Two bird attracting plants for your garden.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This program is only offered indoors, with all windows and doors shut.
All blinds or curtains should be closed.
Make sure any house pets are out of the display space.
If anyone attending is allergic to nuts, please ensure to advise the handler.
Our handler will bring a drop sheet to cover the floor in the presentation space.
Please do not spray any pesticides prior to our arrival.
THINGS TO KNOW
Our birds love almonds, however we understand human allergies. Please advise before your booking if anyone is allergic to nuts so that the presenter can offer different treats.
